USA moving world towards World War III

Much of the news today is filled with the United States moving its war machinery to the Persian Gulf in its plan to engage Iran which it accuses of supporting rebel militias in Iraq.

However, the situation should warrant all serious Christians to watch and keep up with what is going on in the Middle East. The events in this region do not substantiate an expansion of the US Empire but otherwise its demise.

The US is moving the world towards a nuclear holocaust and a Gog Magog war that will claim millions of lives. However, it is imperative that Christians realise that this coming war will not be the end of the world but the ‘Begging of Sorrows’ as Jesus Christ spoke about it in Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:6-8
(6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
(7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.

We are getting into a time that very severe alterations are coming as pertains to the current world lifestyles. The adjustments are going to be so severe that current world systems will fail and therefore need for new systems. It is in this light that the rebellious anti God and antichrist systems are going to be ushered in.

We are witnessing the demise of the world's only empire-USA

What we are witnessing is the transition from current world system to the New World Order. We are witnessing the demise of one world empire – The USA and the rise of another one world empire – One World Government – Antichrist System. Certainly the coming Middle East war will be a climax of the clash of the West and Islamic civilizations that has already begun.

Make no mistake about it, the Iran US war will usher in great sorrows. This coming war will not go as planned by the Americans but it will go as planned by The Lord God of Heaven and Earth. The implications here are great. It means that we are seeing Bible prophesy being fulfilled before our eyes…that is if you live through this coming Nuclear Holocaust in the Middle East.

No Turning Back from Doom's Day...

There is no turning back from this point onwards. I say this for two reasons. One is that Israel will NOT coexist with a nuclear-armed Iran that has made its intentions to ‘wipe Israel of the world map’.

Secondly, the US and pursuit for more Oil treasures as she continues her conquest of more middle east territories and expand her empire. The USA's foreign policy is driven by greed for more oil and this is what is causing all the wars around the world currently. Iran has large oil deposits and the USA out of greed seeks to control them. Did the Bible not say that the root of ALL Evil is love for money? America's Capitalistic egos are leading her to death! Her salivating for the control of Oil deposits in the Middle East is surely what is going to kill her.

1 Timothy 6:10
(10) For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Thirdly, Moslems worldwide see the attack on fellow Moslem nations as an attack on Islam by the West, and with the help of Russia and China technological expertise, they certainly are planning a pacification of all ‘infidels’ from their Middle Eastern lands...for the Moslem Nations, this is a fight for their survival and existence.

There is no way in the world Israel will allow a nuclear warheads pointed at it from Iran that has confessed to an agenda of destroying her. Iran is not turning back from her quest for the development of nuclear weapons. She learnt her lessons from North Korea and its Nuclear Test Programs.

USA pinned down in Iraq for judgment...

Iran knows very well how the US ‘used’ Iraq as a proxy in the 1980-88 Iran Iraq war. Yes, the current Iraqi crisis might partly be blamed on the Iranians giving the US hard time in Iraq, however, this is all a strategy to pin down arrogant USA in the Middle East and when one looks at Bible Prophesy concerning this region, one sees that the USA is surely pinned down in Iraq for destruction by divine working.

The war between the US and Iran is a certain and is not a question of if but when. The results of this war will NOT work in the favour of the US but its demise and destruction.

It is imperative that all true saints of God watch with a keen eye the developments in the Middle East. We are witnessing a demise of an empire and a rise of another brutal one world empire. America is on her way to judgment and destruction, and she went through Afghanistan, Iraq and now Iran with no restraints...But God of Heaven has purposed it that she would be drawn through that direction to her place of judgment.

When we look at bible prophesies Persia and Medes are mentioned as destroying Babylon. However, we see that there are a number of prophesies that have not been fulfilled yet concerning the destruction of Babylon.

Mede-Persia Iran Destroys Babylon USA

In Jeremiah 50 and 51, Isaiah 13, we see the total destruction of Babylon. The Lord God uses Medes to destroy Babylon. However, this prophesy has never been fulfilled but reserved for the future.

Isaiah 13:17-19
(17) Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
(18) Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
(19) And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jeremiah 51:11-12
(11) Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
(12) Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:28-29
(28) Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.
(29) And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

Future Prophesies of Babylon yet to be fulfilled...

The scriptures above have NOT yet been fulfilled. The Medes and Persians did not DESTROY Babylon when they over took it. In the book of Daniel 5 and 6, we see that the Medes and Persians simply took over Babylon and set up rule there with out destroying it. They even appointed Daniel among the top administrators of their empire.

Daniel 5:30-31
(30) In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.
(31) And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

Daniel 6:1-3
(1) It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
(2) And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
(3) Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Secondly, Babylon has NEVER become DESOLATE with no inhabitants. Currently Babylon has inhabitants in present day Iraq. Thirdly Babylon has NEVER been destroyed as Sodom and Gomorrah were literally destroyed. These prophesies are future prophesies speaking of another Babylon and that Babylon is USA...

So, one has to ask themselves who Medes/Persia is today, and who is the Daughter of Babylon today? Well, without going into depth study which is not the purpose of this article, certainly Medes/Persia is Iran and Babylon is certainly the USA for she currently controls Iraq and is the nation spoken about in Revelation 18, Jeremiah 50, 51, Isaiah 13, 46, yes she is that most powerful nation today, militarily, economically, politically, and even religiously, including the occult in high offices.

USA is Babylon The Great...

There is no doubt that America is Babylon according to Prophesies in Revelation 17,18, Jeremiah 50, 51...there is no nation on earth as great and powerful today as USA that fits perfectly in all the parameters describing Babylon in Revelation 17, 18, Jeremiah 50, 51, besides she now has the land title to Iraq, ancient Babylon...this is no coincidence but fulfilment of Bible prophesy.

Babylon NEVER destroys Medes/Persia; instead Medes/Persia destroys Babylon according to bible prophecy…this is symbolic of what is to occur in the near future. The rise of Iran is a true threat to the American empire a.k.a. America, The Babylon. What America fears most is what will happen to her. The Lord has purposed to rise up the Medes/Persians for the judgment of Babylon, America.

Though it seems that America is superior in military terms than Iran yet Bible Prophesy indicates that America (Babylon) stands not forever in her quests.

We also see Medes/Persia in among the team of nations that attack Israel in the Gog/Magog war in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

Babylon Historically and Present…

Wikipedia notes the following about Babylon from a secular point of view…

“Babylon was an ancient city in Mesopotamia (modern Al Hillah, Iraq), the ruins of which can be found in present-day Babil Province, about 50 miles (80 km) south of Baghdad. The form Babylon is the Greek variant of Akkadian Babilu (bāb-ilû, meaning "Gateway of the god(s)", translating Sumerian Kadingirra). Also it is interesting to note what Bible Historians have to say about the location of Babylon…this was located in present day Iraq which still hosts the ruins of ancient Babylon…

“The city of Babylon was the capital of the ancient land of Babylonia in southern Mesopotamia. It was situated on the Euphrates River about 50 miles south of modern Baghdad, just north of what is now the modern Iraqi town of al-Hillah.

The tremendous wealth and power of this city, along with its monumental size and appearance, were certainly considered a Biblical myth, that is, until its foundations were unearthed and its riches substantiated during the 19th century. Archaeologists stood in awe as their discoveries revealed that certain stories in the Bible were an actual situation that had happened in time.”

It is interesting to note that the current occupying force in Babylon Iraq is none other than the USA. It is a Historical record that the USA always has economical, military, and political influence on all territories she has ever controlled through war; examples include South Korea, Japan, many other countries, and now Iraq. America is perfectly Babylon spoken about in Revelations 18. America has the ‘land title’ to Iraq as some one put it and she will NOT give it up.

Medes-Persia Historically and Present...

Meanwhile Persia was located in present day Iran and still the remnants of the Persian Empire are Iran. The following online encyclopaedia notes the following on Persia and Iran…

Also Bible Historians concur that Persia was located in present day Iran leaving no doubt that the remnants of the Persians are Iranians…

Iran on the ‘End Time Prophetic Radar’

It is interesting to note that those in the End Time Prophetic community from almost all quarters, both Pre Tribulation and Post Tribulation camps are watching, noting and coming to the same conclusions that the rise of Iran today has to do with fulfilling Bible Prophesy especially as concerns Ezekiel 38, 39 and Jeremiah 50, 51 in which Persia Iran is involved in the destruction of Babylon USA and then her final (Iran) destruction as the Gog Magog Battle that ushers in the Tribulation…Iran is certainly crossing the End Time Prophetic Radar Screens and any serious prophesy student should take note…

R.A. Coombs of AO Report.com and author of ‘America, The Babylon’ has done considerably extensive research as to the Identity of Babylon The Great. R.A. Coombs is spot on concerning the identity of Babylon as ‘America, The Babylon’…

“The Biblical Prophecy predicts a prominent role that Iran will play in the Magog War of Ezekiel 38,39 plus the Babylon prophecies. A thoroughly "nuked" Iran would pose serious theological issues and make God's predictions to no effect.”

In his article ‘Overthrowing God Part 1 and 2’, R.A. Coombs states the following on the Medes and how Bible Prophesy indicates that God will use them to Judge Babylon. Again one should note that the following prophesies have not been fulfilled yet as Ancient Babylon was not destroyed when the Medes and Persians conquered it…

“#1. = Media (aka: “the Medes” & “Madai” [Strong’s Code: #4074] Chaldean term – A country in Central Asia, a segment of what is now called Iran – located in the northwestern quadrant on the border with Iraq and at one time covered part of present day Iraq.

Terms are found in the following passage pertaining to future Biblical Prophecy:

Isaiah 13:17 – Medes

“Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

”Isaiah 21:2 – Media

“A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.”

Jeremiah 51: 11 & 28 – Medes

Ezekiel 27:10 – Persia

10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

Ezekiel 38: 5 -- Persia

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:”

There is no doubt that present day Iran is Medes-Persia. The same Iran is still located in that geographical region as their Medes-Persian ancestors. It is interesting to note that America is currently in control of Iraq where ancient Babylon was located. The prophetic implications of America being in the Euphrates region controlling ancient Babylon –Iraq and facing ancient Medes-Persia – Iran should cause all those students of prophesy to pay serious attention to the geopolitical developments in that region.

America-Babylon not positioned in Iraq for 'Victory'...

America, The Babylon is not being positioned for victory in that part of the world but she is being positioned for severe judgment that will certainly bring her demise. America is not on the march to victory but on a march to her downfall and death. Is it not interesting that it is from this part of the world that folks have been calling for the “death to America”? Well, The Lord God of Heaven and Earth has purposed that America, The Babylon’s current pursuits in this region will lead to her death.

R.A. Coombs continues to shed more light on the current developments in the Middle East and how prophetically the Bible predicts the destruction of Babylon by the Medes. Iran is predicted here as DESTROYING America, the Babylon…

“Iran's role in Biblical prophecy is two-fold. She is mentioned in the destruction of a future Babylon super-power, known in Revelation as "mystery Babylon" or "Babylon, the Megala." She is also found in the prophecies concerning the invasion of Israel by Magog and Magog's allies. We find her mentioned in the Babylon prophecies in the following passages:

Isaiah 13:17

“Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.”

Jeremiah 51: 11 & 28

Persia-Iran not alone, she has allies...

However, Iran will not be alone when God uses her to judge America, The Babylon. Iran will have allies and it will be a combination of nations that will DESTROY America. It is interesting that Iran currently has made pacts with Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez and other Latin American nations opposed to the US Hegemony. However, the Bible states Iran’s allies in her destruction of America. R.A. Coombs again states the following…

"The passage of verse 28 comes in conjunction with verse 27 which indicates she has allies. Those allies are:

27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers.

#1. Ararat
…The obvious location for Ararat would seem to be present-day Turkey, but that is not necessarily the case. There is actually another mountain in northern Iran that is also referred to as Ararat. It exists in the same mountain range as the Ararat of Turkey…

#2. Minni
Minni is believed to be by most scholars, the area we know today as Armenia in what was once the old Yugoslavia. However, in ancient times, Armenia covered much more than Yugoslavia. It covered portions of the old Soviet Republics around the Caspian Sea region. It is thought that the Chechnyan region was also part of the Armenian kingdom.

#3, Ashchenaz

…However, closer inspection of the term, bolstered by modern archaeology and anthropology strongly suggests that the term "Ashchenaz" was originally applied to a region of Turkey, closer to the Caspian Sea…The idea that the Ashchenaz is a region around the Caspian Sea makes more sense because that is where the other two named "tribes" or "kingdoms" were located as well as the "Medes" or shall we say, the Iranians...”

Current Geo-Political Alignments to Change and Reflect Ezekiel 38, 39...

Clearly any serious student of bible prophecy will take note of the fact that current world political alignments are changing and or have changed in that nations are positioning themselves for the Gog Magog war against Israel.

It is clear that from Bible prophesy, Turkey will align itself with Iran, though there does not seem to be a real substantial alignment with Iran currently. However, when one studies Ezekiel 38 and 39, one sees nations that are currently aligned to America but aligning with Gog and Magog to attack Israel.

It is here that I fore see America’s days as numbered. The truth cannot be underestimated here. Iran or Persia is being awakened or raised up as a judgment to Babylon America before Iran herself is judged in the Gog Magog war.

Christian World largely Ignorant of these developments...

Many American Christians and Christians around the world dependent on America’s Evangelical hand are ignorant of this facts but the truth is the days of the American empire and self-indulgent way of life are numbered.

The days of the worldwide church feeding off America’s evangelical church are numbered and coming to an end. The days of America’s apostate preachers and teachers are numbered and coming to an end. The Lord is arising to judge the nations.

Again R.A. Coombs shades more light on the famous prophesy of the Gog Magog war that I believe will usher us into the great tribulation. R.A Coombs mentions the role that Iran has to play in this soon coming major war and the subsequent judgment of Iran alongside Gog Magog and her host…

“Ezekiel chapter 38:5 indicates that the nation of Magog attempts to invade Israel and brings allied nations along in the invasion attempt. We'll start this short explanation with a look at verses 2 through 6

2 -- " Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 -- " And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 -- " And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 -- " Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 -- " Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee...

It is not our purpose here to examine the prophecy itself, other than to note that Persia, also known as Iran is mentioned as being one of the nations allied with Magog in the invasion attempt against Israel. “

Persia, which is modern day Iran, Ethiopia that is still Ethiopia today and Libya that is still Libya today, are all aligned together in the Gog Magog war against Israel. Today Ethiopia has made headlines over is being used as a proxy by the US in her empire wars in Somalia. Libya has been mentioned in the news as being in possession with weapons of Mass Destruction, which it voluntary relinquished. It seems that Ethiopia and Libya are aligned to America but suddenly there is a shift and these nations align with Iran to join the Gog Magog war against Israel.

America will not succeed in conquest of Iran but the reserve, Iran will...

So, as R.A. Coombs points out, America destroying Iran is not mentioned in Bible Prophesy at all. Babylon does not destroy Medes/Persia but Medes/Persia destroys Babylon. America’s rant and rhetoric of “dealing” with Iran is a self fulfilling Prophesy…in other words American Leaders are speaking about the demise of their nation.

The very thing they wish to do to Iran is what will happen to America! As R.A. Coombs points out this very truth that God CANNOT SIN…though physically America seems stronger militarily than Iran and looks set to win this coming War with Iran yet God has stated that it is Medes/Persia that will destroy Babylon…and the word I am using here that The Lord used in Prophesy is ‘Destroy’…

“Prophetically, if America destroys Iran before Iran can destroy America or chip in to help destroy America's Persian Gulf forces, then God's Word in regards to the Babylon prophecies are in error. Thus God has prophesied an event that didn't or won't happen.
Furthermore, the Magog prophecies will have become null and void and also unfulfilled and therefore also in error. In other words, GOD SINS and will be proven by Satan to be a sinner just like everyone else! What are the implications of this?”

What other end time watchers are seeing...

Many other end time watchmen are seeing what is forming in the Middle East insofar as the Gog Magog war is concerned, especially pertaining to Iran and its role in end times. S.R. Shearer of Antipas Ministries notes well concerning the developments in the Middle East between Iran and the US in that the Iranians believe that they have arrived at the end of days and are expecting the return of the hidden Imam amidst wars, chaos, and bloodshed…

“He (i.e., the 12th Imam) is said to have gone into "occlusion" (hiding) in the ninth century, at the age of five. HIS RETURN WILL BE PRECEDED BY COSMIC CHAOS, WAR AND BLOODSHED. AFTER A CATACLYSMIC CONFRONTATION WITH EVIL AND DARKNESS, THE MAHDI WILL LEAD THE WORLD INTO AN ERA OF UNIVERSAL PEACE. THIS IS SIMILAR TO THE CHRISTIAN VISION OF THE APOCALYPSE. INDEED, THE HIDDEN IMAM IS EXPECTED TO RETURN IN THE COMPANY OF JESUS.Mr. Ahmadinejad appears to believe that these events are close at hand AND THAT ORDINARY MORTALS CAN INFLUENCE THE DVINE TIMETABLE.”

S.R. Shearer continues to place emphasis on what I pointed out earlier that Israel would not continue to coexist with a nuclear-armed Iran that has publicly made announcements to “wipe Israel and the Zionist regime off the map”. We should take note that Israel did not take the threats of Sadam Hussein lightly in 1981 and went ahead to destroy his nuclear facilities the situation is very different now, Iran posses far greater threat to the Jewish state that did Saddam Hussein in the 1980’s…

World War III anticipated by world powers...Syria a Trigger?

AS S.R. Shearer notes that for many years this war has been anticipated by world powers like Britain, France and Germany. However, I believe that what they expect to happen in this coming Gog Magog war will take them by surprise. For nations will be gathered against Israel.

The question remains what will cause such change of heart and alignments against Israel by some pro American countries. My opinion though I might be wrong is Syria. What might transpire suddenly and take everybody’s surprise might be Israel nuking Damascus and as such drawing worldwide reprisal in the Gog Magog war (This is speculative, we shall wait and see).

The rise of Iran is certainly a judgment to America Babylon though many Americans will not want to believe it but this is what is going to happen Prosperity gospel will not help any more, the almighty dollar will be useless, a state of chaos and collapse is what is heading for America. This is what I tell America-nized Christians; whenever you hear of 'Iran and nuke weapons, think about judgment coming on America Babylon.

Global America-nized Christians are reminiscent of the Residents of Pompeii who according to historians where "used" to the earthquake tremors that they did not take any warning to escape disaster seriously in 79 AD. They thought the warnings are just normal.

Today, Christians see all these signs that Jesus Christ spoke about and yet ignore them thinking that it is 'just another sign' we don't have to worry...and they continue in their slumber, apathy, and lethargy just like the residents of Pompeii...

Persia-Iran to get more than she is asking for...

However as S.R. Shearer notes, Iran is asking for more than they are asking for, Israel being wiped off the map is the hooks being placed in Iran’s nostrils leading her to judgment at the Gog Magog war…

However, this is not going to be a victory for the Islamists as some might suppose. God is gathering the nations for judgment as they come against Israel in the Gog Magog war. The Islamic world as we know it will not stay intact. S.R. Shearer notes the following…

What is this? - it certainly is not the outcome anticipated by Ahmadinejad and his followers! Nor is it necessarily the outcome anticipated by Christians, for the Gog/Magog War will not be the "end of things" as so many Christians now suppose, but only the beginning; specifically "THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS" - AND IT'S ALL JUST MOMENTS AWAY! “

The Lord God of Heaven will fight for Israel...

It is interesting that the Bible records when Jews under captivity in Babylon controlled by the Persians then, how, Haman tried his take on “wipe Israel off the map” stance and things turned the other way round. It is interesting that there has been a spiritual force of some kind in this region for ages calling to Israel being “wiped off the map”, yet God rescues His people and judges the conspirators.

For sure that is what is going to happen this time in the Gog Magog battle except that both Babylon USA and Persia Iran get judged respectively. The war will end with the rise of the antichrist and false prophet, for they come out of this chaos to bring in a false peace and false security to the world as Doug Krieger notes in his article ‘Full Nuclearization’…

I believe America Babylon is going to fall and be judged before the tribulation and not at the end of the tribulation. It is Iran Persia that first destroys America Babylon before Iran is destroyed. World War III NOT End of world but Beginning of sorrows...

There is no doubt that the beginning of sorrows is coming, this is the time to hide in God’s Word, obey God’s Commands and Trust in Jesus Christ. Those who still bank on trusting money and riches of this world are in for very big disappointment. The great humbling is coming and we better humble ourselves before God humbles us.

These current events i.e. the rise of Iran and Gog Magog war, are not leading to ‘Rapture’ of the saints as some quarters would like us to believe. The rapture will happen after ‘The Tribulation of those days’… What is happening right now is that we are going to be getting into the Tribulation, the Antichrist and False Prophet are going to be revealed and there is going to be sorrow upon sorrows. Nations are going to be judged and wiped off the map by cataclysmic judgments from The Lord.

Millions are going to die and for Christians, there is going to be intense persecutions as never happened – Record breaking persecutions. Yes, all the American armies gathering around the Euphrates are not there to play games but being positioned so Bible prophesies are fulfilled, and for sure, the developments in the Middle East are a very big sign to this generation that we are about to get into 'The beginning of Sorrows', the Tribulation, and yes the Second Coming of Jesus Christ after the Tribulation of those days.

The ‘beginning of sorrows is upon us’. Your only protection is in Jesus Christ, He alone can save you from this time of darkness coming upon the earth. It is time that you prepare spiritually by abiding in Jesus Christ, He alone will see you though the dark days of sorrows descending upon this earth.
