and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince
of Meshech and Tubal:
Study of the Gog Magog war not to
be ignored…
As we look at the events
happening around the world and especially in the Middle East,
one cannot fail to see that nations are gearing up for war. As a
matter of fact there is war going on right now in the Middle
East and one cannot fail to connect the dots that these current
Middle East wars are leading up to a Major war prophesied long
ago by Ezekiel.
I believe that the coming Gog
Magog war is upon us and will greatly affect all upon the earth
especially the Church that has been made to believe that they
will not be present to endure this war and its aftermath.
I believe that this study below
will help the True Saints of The Lord Jesus Christ keep all
things in proper perspective and not be shaken by the winds of
change that are now blowing fearfully and angrily upon this
earth…
However, this will NOT be the end
of the World and this will not be the last war; this will be a
beginning of Sorrows and others wars will come…

Prophesy fulfilled and
unfulfilled…
The Ezekiel 38, 39 prophecy
details prophesied war that has not occurred yet. This war will
involve the Islamic nations, yes, with the help of Russia in
their attack against Israel…
However, it is important to note
that this prophecy would not be fulfilled without Israel being a
nation. So, the Bible speaks about of Israel as a Nation and Gog
Attacks Israel as a nation. Yes, Israel might not be a perfect
nation before God of Heaven but prophetically; it is very
significant nation in the fulfilment of major end time
prophecies…
As we all know that Israel is a
Nation today and very importantly is that the Islamic States are
not at peace with her though some may stomach Israel out of
pressure from the United States but for most part, many of these
Islamic States wish the “wiped off the Map” statement of the
Iranian President would come true.

The antagonism, hate, and war
planning against Israel by these Islamic states that we see
today should open the eyes of all Bible Prophesy students that
we have in place all the players to be involved in this coming
Gog Magog war, only that these Islamic States are looking for an
excuse, and a very good excuse to attack Israel with
overwhelming force.
The following prophesies in
Ezekiel 36 and 37 are a precursor to the fulfilling of Ezekiel
38, 39 Gog Magog war prophesies. Many will however spiritualize
Ezekiel 37, of which they might be truth to it; however, I
believe that it mainly speaks about the physical rebirth of the
Nation of Israel that occurred between 1917 and 1948…so we have
three events here…

centuries in exile Ezekiel 36 and 37…this has been
progressive…

Physical Israel Imperative in End

We have the PHYSICAL return
of Jews to Physical Israel as very imperative to the fulfilling
of the Ezekiel 38, 39 prophecies and other Bible prophesies as

Many Christians have errored here
by spiritualizing every prophecy given to Israel as that for the
Church – Replacement Theology…
Many of these folks are in a
state of denial that Physical Israel has nothing to do with end
time prophecies but they are dead wrong. Physical Israel is
imperative in the fulfillment of many end time prophecies…
Ezekiel 36:24-25
(24) For I will take
you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries,
and will bring you into your own land.
(25) Then will I sprinkle clean water upon
you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and
from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Ezekiel 37:12,14
(12) Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people,
I will open your graves, and cause you to come up
out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
(14) And shall put my spirit in you, and ye
shall live, and I shall place you in your own land:
then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and
performed it, saith the LORD.
Spiritual Awakening will occur in
Physical Israel…
It is interesting to note that
there is a revival or spiritual awakening that is prophesied to
take place BUT after the Jews (Whole House of Israel) are
returned to their land. It is also interesting to note that this
part of prophecy has not yet been fulfilled…and or is being
fulfilled gradually…
For the most part the Jews in
Israel still follow after Judaism and other traditions yet while
they continue to reject The True Messiah Jesus Christ, the Son
of The Living God.

However, this will not continue
to be so, the spiritual revival spoken about in Ezekiel 36 and
37 will involve the Whole House of Israel acknowledging that
Jesus Christ is the True Son of The Living God. These events in
Ezekiel 38, 39 are some of what will lead to that…
Now, there is a huge debate as to
the identity of the ‘House of Israel’ and the Jews…some have
argued that these prophesies are only for the ‘Lost Ten Tribes
of Israel’ that are referred to as the House of Israel…but
remember the prophesy goes ahead to refer to the ‘Whole House of
Israel – Both Houses of Judah and Israel…and The Land of Israel…
Some claim that the USA, Britain,
New Zealand and Australia are the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel and
therefore referred to here… While it might be true that a number
of Jews and Semitic peoples might live in those nations, that
does not make them the House of Israel…this prophesy is specific
to Israel… It is to this physical Israel – ‘The Land of Israel’
that The Lord refers to in Ezekiel 36, 37, 38, and 39…
Gog Magog War is NOT Armageddon
War…
It is imperative to note that the
Gog Magog war in Ezekiel 38, 39 is not the Armageddon war in the
book of Revelation 16:11-16, 19:11-21… There is a big difference
between these two separate wars. The Gog Magog war will start
the Tribulation period and the Armageddon war will end the
Tribulation Period with The Return of Jesus Christ.
There has been a lot of confusion
in the Church when it comes to these two wars, most bible
scholars, pastors and seminaries have placed these two wars
together as one and the same which is an error as Clevetta
Herndon R.N in her article ‘Three Future Wars’ at
Endtimepilgrims.org states:
“In the popular mind, the Gog/Magog War
and the Armageddon war have more often than not been
confused as one rather than two wars, the tendency being to
merge the Scriptures which detail the events of the
Gog/Magog War with those of Armageddon. This confusion has
been aided and abetted by pastors and teachers who should
know better. Why has this knowledge not filtered down to the
churches from the seminaries from which it was first made?
Why? - because when one finally admits to the differences,
certain conclusions with regard to the United States and its
involvement in the Middle East become inevitable -
conclusions which the vast majority of American christians
are simply not prepared to accept”
Many Christians today especially
in America are still glued to the lies of the ‘Rapture Before
the Tribulation’ theology and to consider such implications of
the Gog Magog war would mean making severe adjustments from
their comfort zones and comfy lives…
They are still in love with this
world yet this very war of Gog and Magog comes to strip them off
the very comfy lives they have cherished and protected. So it is
in a state of denial that they live…it is the fatal Ostrich
Mentality of hiding one’s head in the sand…

Gog Magog War starts the
Tribulation Period…
The Gog Magog war will certainly
start the Tribulation period, ushering in the reign of the
Antichrist and False Prophet Beast Systems… In Ezekiel 39:9, it
takes seven complete years to burn up the weapons left by Gog
and his hordes in their failed attack against Israel. It is
interesting that the seven year period is used here which would
line up well with Daniel’s 70th week which will be
period of seven years, the length of the Tribulation period.
Daniel 9:27
(27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many
for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
The ‘he’ in
Daniel 9:27 is NOT Jesus Christ…
It is imperative to note that the
‘he’ in this verse above is NOT Jesus Christ as some would like
you to believe but the Antichrist. The Messiah is never
mentioned anywhere in scripture making or ‘confirming’ a
Covenant for a seven week period.
The Lord is spoken about by the
Old Testament Prophets as making an ‘Everlasting Covenant’, and
not a 7-year covenant. The scriptures below overwhelmingly
state that The Lord makes an ‘Everlasting Covenant’ with Israel
and NOT a 7-year covenant…

- Covenant with House of Israel...to write God's Laws on
their Hearts...

- An Everlasting Covenant with them (Israel)...God will not
turn away from them...

- Establish (confirm) an Everlasting Covenant with Israel...

Ezekiel 16:62
- God to Establish (confirm) Covenant...Israel shall know
that He is Lord...

Ezekiel 34:25
- God will make a Covenant of Peace with Israel...Will cause
the evil beasts to cease; in Daniel 9:27, evil beasts -
Antichrist are present... If you are still in doubt, look at
Ezekiel 37:36 below about this covenant of peace…

Ezekiel
37:26
- God will make a Covenant of Peace with Israel...It shall
be an Everlasting Covenant... This is more explicit, that
The Covenant is everlasting and Not the 7 year Deal in
Daniel 9:27 that is broken after 3.5 years. So, there should
be no confusion about the 'he' in Daniel 9:27. The 'he' in
Daniel 9:27 is the Antichrist...
Secondly it is the Antichrist
that causes the ceasing of the Sacrifices in the Temple and NOT
Jesus Christ. Symbolically we see the Antichrist stop the
sacrifices in Daniel 8:11-14, Daniel 11:18 and Daniel 11:36. In
all these scriptures, it is the Antichrist that breaks covenant,
stopping the daily sacrifices and NOT Jesus Christ.
Paul, The Apostle speaks about
this Antichrist again who exalts himself in the Temple of God…
2Thessalonians 2:3-4. In 1 Thessalonians 5:3-5 Paul notes that
as they say peace, peace, then sudden destruction comes upon
them.
Again here one should note that
this will be a false peace brought about by the Antichrist after
the Gog Magog war between Israel and her enemies. So in summary
the scriptures below ALL show that the ‘he’ in Daniel 9:27 is
NOT Jesus Christ but the Antichrist…

Daniel 8:11-14
- he - the Antichrist tries to magnifies himself against The
Lord and he - the antichrist takes away the daily
sacrifices...

Daniel 9:27
- he - the antichrist confirms the covenant with many for
one week - 7 years and he - the antichrist stops the daily
sacrifices...

Daniel 11:21-24
- he - the antichrist comes in by flatteries of false
peace...
-
Daniel 11:36
- he - the antichrist shall exalt himself above every god
and speak blasphemy against God of Heaven...

Daniel 12:11-13
- specific time is given when the daily sacrifices are
stopped to the coming of the Lord which is 3.5 years, so if
the daily sacrifices have already been removed then it means
the 3.5 years given to Daniel are obsolete...again the 'he'
in Daniel 9:27 is NOT Jesus Christ...

1 Thessalonians 5:3-5
- when they say peace and safety, sudden destruction comes
upon them...remember the Antichrist in Daniel 11:21-24 comes
in with flatteries and false peace and security but breaks
this covenant at the 3.5 year mark...

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
- it is the antichrist who opposes and exalts himself above
all that is called God, he - the Antichrist demands worship
and sets himself in the Temple of God showing himself that
he is God and certainly removing the daily sacrifices...so
again, the 'he' in Daniel 9:27 is NOT Jesus Christ...
So, the 7 year Tribulation period
will begin with a False peace accord as spoken about in Daniel
9:27 but after that accord will be broken in the middle of that
Daniel’s 70th week and then begin the rest of the 3.5 years that
Jesus Christ refers to as the “Great Tribulation” Matthew 24:21…
So, events line up in summary …

And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy
jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses
and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even
a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling
swords:
>>We see here that The Lord Himself is against
Gog and his hordes to bring them specifically for judgment when
they attack Israel. It is the Lord Himself who places thoughts
of the war in Gog and his hordes…
The Lord will place hooks in their Jaws and bring
them forth to attack Israel…this is descriptive of even Islamic
Nations that are not really interested in attacking Israel, they
will take the bait and go down to Israel for Judgement…they will
all join in a ‘Jihad’ to “wipe Israel off the Map”…
All Islamic Nations, including Russia and others
that form an alliance to attack Israel during the Gog Magog war
are specifically setup by The Lord for Judgment and destruction
of their armed forces, thus the collapse of Islamic/Russian
Militarism in this region…
WHO ARE THESE
NATIONS TODAY?

Ezekiel 38:
5
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of
them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his
bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his
bands: and many people with thee.
Nations or entities detailed in
the attack above… The question is that who are the following
nations today since these prophecies have NOT been fulfilled
yet… There are many theories as to which nations are mentioned
in Ezekiel 38, 39.
However, and sad to mention is
the most prevalent theory out there in the “Left Behind” Series
circles that purports these nations to be as ‘the name
sounds’…in other words Rosh is Russia, Meshech is Moscow etc…
While Russia will be involved certainly, the conclusions at
which folks come to say Russia will be involved are laughable…
It is just sad that Bible College
Professors and Seminaries would not even take extra time to
investigate the identities of these nations but simply buy in
the “If it sounds like Moscow, then its Moscow” theory.

GOG and The Land of Magog
Secular and Bible historians
always point to the land of Magog to be the area North of the
Black see. It is interesting that Josephus, a Jewish Roman
Citizen points to the Land of Magog as being that of the
Scythians, again around the Black Sea area…[1]
This Magog region today is
composed of the former Soviet Republics of Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and northern
parts of Afghanistan. It is interesting to note that all these
nations are Islamic States and somewhat border the Islamic
Republic of Iran that has reiterated the call for Israel to be
“wiped off the map”.
Some folks claim that Magog is
Russia simply because it is further North and has had strong
influence in this region. This might be true to an extent in
that Russia is the largest supplier of military equipment to
this region because of their former Soviet Union Relationship.
However, primarily, the Magog
region is one that forms these Islamic states of Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and northern
parts of Afghanistan - Scythians remnants.
The Chief Prince of Meshech
Flavius Josephus identified
Meshech with the Cappadocian Moschoi or Mushki who dwelt around
Georgia and Armenia… However, some have identified this area to
cover Turkey, South Russia, and North Iran. [2]
However, when one looks at the
Mosaic Map of the known world by the Hebrews, one sees that
Meshech was between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea area that
currently covers, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, North Iran,
Turkey, and South Russia. Islam, again is a majority in this
neighbourhood and bordering the Islamic Republic of Iran
interestingly with South Russia in the North…
Tubal
Historian Josephus identified
Tubal with the Iberians and Cappadocians again between the Black
Sea and the Caspian Sea. However, when one looks at ‘The World
As Known by The Ancient Hebrews’ map, we see that Tubal is that
area in Georgia and parts of North East Turkey today. So, this
would include nations today of Georgia and Turkey. [3]
Persia
Persia is currently Iran today.
As a matter of fact Modern Day Iran was known as Persia until
1935 when they changed their name to Iran. Iran is now the
Islamic Republic of Iran and located in a very strategic
Geopolitical location, bordering many Islamic States. It is Iran
that is repeatingly calling for Israel to be “wiped off the
Map”… It is interesting that it was Herman the Persian in the
Book of Esther who called for the Jews to be “wiped off the map”
and was instead “wiped off the map” [4]

Ethiopia
Some translations use the Cush
for Ethiopia here and some argue that Ethiopia would include the
Cushitic Tribes that would include not only Ethiopia but also
Pakistan and India, all dark skinned and brown skinned peoples.
However, Cush, Ethiopia is the
region currently occupied by Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan and parts
of Djibouti. Today Sudan is know for being an Islamic State and
with history of supporting “Terrorists” while with pacts with
Iran and formerly with the late leader of Iraq, Saddam Hussein.

Libya
Some bible translations use the
word ‘Put’, or ‘Phut’; the KJV uses Libya in this endeavour.
This would be the region beyond Egypt in the West. So, this
region is currently occupied by Libya, Tunisia, and Algeria…some
Bible scholars would go further to include Morocco. Some have
also associated it with Somalia. It is interesting that the
Libya just gave up its quest for Nuclear Weapons and Tunisia was
attack by Israel planes when they hosted the PLO Headquarters in
their Capital City…Algeria has for long had Islamic
insurrections especially against French Puppet Governments in
that region… [6]
Gomer
Gomer is identified by Historians
with the Cimmerian peoples who dwelt in the Caucasus and Black
Sea, present day South Russia and Turkey areas but are said to
have been expelled from that region and settled in the
Cappadocia area which is present day Turkey… So certainly Gomer
descendants would be in present day Turkey…[7]

Togarmah
Togarmah are sons of Gomer and
mentioned in Ezekiel 27:14 as having supplied military
assistance to Tyre. Tradition holds that they settled in the
Armenia region and present day Armenians are descendants of
Togarmah. So today, this would be present-day Armenia and
Turkey… [8]
One should note that the above
names of the given nations in the Gog Magog invasion are the
descendants of Noah. It is interesting to note that in Matthew
24 Jesus Christ stated that as it was it the Days of Noah, so
shall it be at the Coming of the Son of Man…
Here we have the descendants of
Noah who seemed to have forsaken the God of their Father Noah
and turned to other gods, they then come down to attack Israel
in these latter days for judgment…

be Saudi Arabia. According to some historians, Sheba stretched
from South Saudi Arabia, Yemen, to include parts of Ethiopia.
When one looks at the Middle East map, this is very possible as
one enters the Red see from the Indian Ocean; there is no doubt
that Sheba peoples would have settled in the Ethiopia regions…
So, Sheba and Dedan would
represent the regions of South East Saudi Arabia and parts of

Interestingly The US has a Military Base in Djibouti and has had
Military exercise with Ethiopia…but alliances could change

Merchants of Tarshis
To understand Tarshis and who
Tarshis is today one must understand the history of the
Phoenicians who were experts at Sea trade. The Old Testament
does not use the word Phoenicians but Sidonians. These were
experts at sea who brought gifts by Hiram King of Tyre, a
Sidonians - Phoenician to King Solomon and assisted in building
the Temple.
So, Phoenicians mastered the
Mediterranean Sea and thus had a trading City called city of
Tartessos in Spain. This City was known for its trade in Tin
metal and other minerals. It is said that the Phoenicians had in
routes from Tarshis – Tartessos inland to Celtic regions or Tin
Islands of Britain in the Conwell area.

Tarshis or Tarshis was the
furthest point West on the Mediterranean Sea in Spain. This is
the furthest point West in the known world that Jonah fled when
he boarded a ship and tried to escape from God’s call to preach
repentance in Nineveh. Also one should note the Tarsus in
Cilicia Turkey was not the furthest point West.
The Jewish Encyclopaedia notes
well that Tarshis was in Spain, the present day City of
Tartessos. With this information, the Phoenicians certainly had
trade contact with Tin Mining regions of Britain thus contact
with Britain and certainly Europe. So, one would not be wrong to
conclude that the Merchants of Tarshis, included Europeans, and
Britons in Particular.
Thus modern day Merchants of
Tarshis would include Britain, Europeans and their colonies the
USA, including other Anglo-American Economic Dominated or
‘Tarshished’ Nations like Malaysia, Japan etc. There is no doubt
that Israel traded with the Europeans and thus had contacts with
Mineral producing regions like Britain. [10]

This would certainly reference
The Merchants of Tarshis who happen to be Britain and the USA,
and all their colonies or client states, which they control
economically.
This would certainly refer to the
western world…they are the ones that arise to protest against
Gog and her Islamic forces attacking Israel… These are nations
that could include the Common Wealth of Great Britain headed by
the Queen.
It would include also nations
that have strong economic ties with the USA, in other words the
whole English speaking nations… Interestingly Britain uses a
Lion as one of her National Symbols… Ancient Babylon also
idolised the Lion symbol as this is found on some artefacts.
Hamongog
This is the valley to be named…a place where Gog
and his armies will be buried in the land of Israel… Some people
confuse this with Armageddon but they are two distinct places,
as we shall see.
Hamongog is the Name to be given to the valley
where Gog will be buried with his troops while Armageddon is
already named as that and exists even to this day…
The land of unwalled
villages, that live carelessly in the Isles
The Land of Unwalled Villages is representative
of those nations that live carelessly and are at ease. We see
that in the book of Judges 18 that the Tribe of Dan had no
inheritance and went to look out for one in the Land of Laish
but when they got there, they found a people who dwelt
carelessly without walls, bars and gates – the defences of these
people were down.
Interestingly it was the Sidonians or commonly
known as the Phoenicians who controlled and influenced these
peoples, however the Phoenicians where know to travel West on
the Mediterranean sea in Trade routes and to Europe and other
parts of the world…
Therefore it seems that because of the wealth out
of trade and false protection of the Phoenicians, these people
in Laish lived carelessly and at ease as AFTER The Manner of The
Sidonians (Phoenicians’) as Western Nations do live today...a
life of luxury, wealth, self indulgence, greed, and false
security.

The life of these ancient businessmen was one of
self-indulgency and false security… Sad is the fact that the
tribe of Dan inherited the gods and idols that they found in
this land. They worshiped the gods and Idols of this land until
the day they were captured by the Assyrians and taken into
captivity.
The Tribe of Dan is one of the “Lost Ten Tribes
of Israel”…and any place they went they surely carried on the
lifestyle of the Laish peoples since they inherited their gods…
Interestingly, Jeremiah 49:31-32 speaks of a
wealthy nations that lives at ease, carelessly, without bars,
nor gates and dwell alone…this is similar to the peoples of
Laish that lived after the Manner of The Sidonians (Phoenicians)
who were Merchants of Tarshis, who lived a self indulgent and
with a false security lifestyle.
These peoples are on The Lord’s judgment list…The
Lord says He will destroy them…He will bring calamity upon them
from every side. Remember that the Tribe of Dan adopted the gods
and Idols they found in this land that dwells carelessly and at
ease.
Jeremiah also prophesies that in their
carelessness they dwell alone…these people would not give up
their lifestyle, you either join them or are against them…it is
interesting that the USA perfectly fits this description of
peoples…

therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the
Zidonians, quiet and secure; and

no magistrate in the land, that might put
them
to shame in
