The Harlot Church And Spiritual Fornication

Ancient
Israel, a Lesson to the Church Today...
There are much symbolic
similarities between the time that the prophet Jeremiah warned
Israel – the people of Judah before her captivity to Babylon and
the Church today. The people of Judah received warning after
warning, rebuke after rebuke, warning them of the impending
disaster.
However, they chose to disobey
The Voice of The Lord and as such judgment and chastisement fell
on Judah and she was carried away to Babylon into captivity
where she spent a period of seventy years.
The people of Judah rejected the
message of the Prophet Jeremiah; they rejected the counsel of
God’s Word and as such were totally given over to the sword of
the King of Babylon.
The Lord made sure that He placed
exit routes for the people of Judah to escape the impending
judgment but repeatedly they refused and were stubborn at heart
and very rebellious towards The Lord God of Heaven and Earth.
Interestingly when Judgment came
to the people of Judah as we read in Jeremiah 39, not only was
there judgment on the religious establishment but even the
political and economical establishments, the very things that
the Israelites trusted is what The Lord judged and threw down.
The Book of
Jeremiah, a Warning to the Church today...
Today the Church of Jesus Christ,
which ironically loves to call itself the “spiritual Israel” is
doing just the same thing. The Church has and is committing the
exact same sin that The Lord alludes to in Jeremiah 3. The Book
of Jeremiah should be a warning to all those who call themselves
Christians today. As a matter of fact Jeremiah 3 is an
indictment against the Church today for forsaking their personal
relationship with Jesus Christ and going after Man.
Looking carefully at Jeremiah 3,
The Lord states His case against the people of Judah and today
symbolically stating this same case against the Church or those
who call themselves by the Name of The Lord – Christians…
Jeremiah 3:1-25
(1)
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and
become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not
that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot
with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
(2)
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast
not been lain with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the
Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with
thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
The Lord clearly spells out to
Israel that they were playing the Harlot. They were in love with
other lovers and had forsaken The Lord to whom they were
engaged. The church today with exception of a few remnant
Christians is too engaged in this type of harlotry. So, what is
Harlotry anyway?

The question is then why would
The Lord rightly accuse Israel of playing the Harlot or
committing Adultery? How did Israel commit spiritual
fornication and Adultery? How does the Church commit spiritual
fornication and Adultery today? Why would the Church be accused
of playing the Harlot or committing Spiritual fornication?
How Israel committed spiritual
adultery
Ezekiel 16:26
(26)
Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy
neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to
provoke me to anger.
The Lord spells out His case
explicitly against Israel’s Adultery sins in Ezekiel 16 and
Ezekiel 23. The language is symbolic of a wife who departs from
her lawful husband for complete strangers. Israel committed
spiritual adultery by going to the Egyptians and trusting in the
hand of Egypt.
Remember The Lord delivered His people from
Israel after more than 400 years of bondage and slavery. They
now were returning to the very same nation that kept them in
bondage for help while refusing and rejecting The Lord’s Hand
over them. Egypt represents the world and worldliness and system
of the world.
Israel not only decided to trust in Egypt but
also adopted and worshiped the idols of Egypt and as such
departed from The Holy God. This is the adultery they committed
just like the church is doing today.
Ezekiel
16:28-30

Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou
wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and
yet couldest not be satisfied.

Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of
Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest
all these
things,
the work of an imperious whorish woman;
Political Christianity, is a
Church and State Adultery...
Israel also committed adultery
with the Assyrians and the Chaldeans or Babylonians. These
nations are symbolic of world systems and powers. Israel also
adopted many gods from these nations and built high places in
which they scarified to these gods. They turned their backs
against The Holy God Almighty who delivered them from Egyptian
bondage and brought them into the promised a land. They totally
trusted in the world systems to help them out. This was pure
spiritual adultery because they forsook The Lord.
Ezekiel 16:32-34

But as
a wife that committeth adultery,
which
taketh strangers instead of her husband!

They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all
thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on
every side for thy whoredom.
(34)
And the contrary is in thee from
other
women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit
whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is
given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
However, Israel’s adultery was
even more preposterous in that they gave gifts to the ‘men’ they
lured so as to commit fornication with them. This would be
symbolic of Israel working hard to get the attention of foreign
nations to seek their help. In other words, Israel bought or
bribed the heathen nations for their protection and services.
They bought to have world systems and bought to have foreign
gods of stone, wood, silver and gold…it is love of the world,
its systems, its values, its gods, its idols, its riches… This
was and is still spiritual adultery with fatal consequences.
How the church commits spiritual
fornication
Mark 8:36-38

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul?
(37)
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(38)
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in
this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son
of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father
with the holy angels.
It is clear that Israel forsook
The Lord simply because they fell in love with the world and
world systems. They loved the world and the things in the world
and as such their hearts were taken over by the gods of world.
Such is the same with many Christians today. They have been
deceived into trusting world systems, loving the world and the
things of this world just like Israel did. Brethren, this is
spiritual adultery and not ought to be so among true saints.
The Lord Jesus Christ asks, “what
shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his
own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” The
church has been deceived by phony preachers and pastors who are
busy telling the church that it is okay to gain riches, love
this world, gain more materials, enjoy life everyday, become the
best they can be in the world etc…that they can be on top of
this world and live like kings since they are sons and daughters
of a king (certainly not Jesus Christ).
And sadly yes, many in
the church claim that such a gospel has worked for them and that
they are rich and prosperous as a result… One preacher in
America claims that he drives a Rolls Royce cars, he has a Gulf
Stream Jet, recently bought a 2.5 Million Dollar condo in New
York and as such encourages his believers to give more so they
too can live such a lifestyle...this is loving and gaining the
whole world yet losing one’s soul.
Adulterous Generation is
ashamed of The Cross...
Interestingly Jesus Christ speaks
about those who are ashamed of Him in this adulterous generation
and how He will be ashamed of them before His Father. Today many
are ashamed of The Life of Jesus Christ, The Life of The Cross,
The Life of fellowship in the suffering in Christ Jesus, the
life of dying to self and the things of the world. Many
Christians grieve the heart of The Father by loving the world
and the things in it. Brethren this is spiritual fornication and
adultery and the consequences are grave.
What The Lord means by adulterous generation is
not that they are adulterous physically alone, which is true and
am not trivializing it. However, the greatest form of adultery I
believe The Lord is speaking of here is spiritual adultery; a
generation that forsakes The Lord and loves, trusts, and
worships this world…and that is our current “Christian”
generation…
James 4:1-3

From whence
come
wars and fightings among you?
come they
not hence,
even
of your lusts that war in your members?
(2)
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot
obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
(3)
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may
consume
it
upon your lusts.
What Causes
Wars Among You?
James the Apostle asks Christians
that what would cause infightings among them… Is it not desires
of the flesh and love for this world? Adultery and fornication
always bring other sins with it like lying, hate, murder, just
to name a few.
Love for the world and the things of the world
will always bring works of the flesh among Christians as each
party competes to gain the accolades and temporal glories of
this world. Most Christian church fights are over power, fame,
and money, and who should control what, as the books of James
even expounds more on this subject…
James 4:4-5

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship
of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a
friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that
dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
Friendship
with The world is enmity with God...
It is clear here that love for and friendship
with the world is enmity with God. James refers to such
Christians as adulterers and adulteresses. Those who continue on
this path by preaching a gospel that causes Christians to love
the world are engaging the church to commit spiritual adultery.
Such preachers have turned the church into a spiritual whore.
The consequences for such actions are severe as The Lord makes
it clear that He yearns over us with jealousy. The Lord is a
jealousy God (Holy Jealousy) who will not allow His Bride to be
turned into a harlot. The Love of the world, Prosperity Gospel,
Dominionism Gospel, Political Christianity, Church and State
partnerships, are all marks of a harlot Church and from such
flee…
1 John 2:15-17

Love not the world, neither the things
that are
in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father
is not in him.

For all that
is
in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world.
(17)
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that
doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
We are cautioned not to love the
world or the things of the world but our love should be love for
Jesus Christ and His Holy Word. The Lord is our Maker and our
Husband; He will provide and protect us. We do not need top
trust in the world systems to be protected and provided for.
Many Christian leaders are busy preaching a gospel of love for
the world, political Christianity, Dominionism, prosperity
gospel, enjoying life today etc but all is not of the Father but
of Satan…this is spiritual fornication, flee from that brethren…
2 Peter 2:14-15

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin;
beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with
covetous practices; cursed children:

Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray,
following the way of Balaam
the son
of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Peter the apostle sheds more
light on the adulterous preachers…they have eyes full of
adultery and cannot cease from sin… They have a heart inclined
towards covetousness or materialism…and have gone the way of
Balaam…
This is very descriptive of the Prosperity gospel
preachers and Purpose Driven and Church Growth Movement. Balaam
represents those preachers who have made it a habit to preach
and pray for the sick for money, they sell their sermons, they
sell healings, and they sell prophesies and even now in Mega
Churches, they sell front row seats… Such preachers and churches
are harlot churches and harlot preachers, from such flee…
Humility, a
remedy to Spiritual Adultery...
James 4:6-10

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the
proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
(7)
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he
will flee from you.
(8)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse
your
hands,
ye
sinners; and purify
your
hearts,
ye
double minded.

Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned
to mourning, and

The remedy to spiritual adultery
is total submission and obedience to The Lordship of Jesus
Christ and being accountable to His Holy word…
Israel
Married to The Lord....
The Lord took the relationship
between Israel and Himself as that of The Lord Himself being
engaged and or Married to Israel and this is the same thing with
The Church today. Our Relationship with The Lord is symbolic of
being engaged and or Married to The Lord Jesus Christ…
Isaiah 54:5-8

For thy Maker
is
thine husband; the LORD of hosts
is
his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of
the whole earth shall he be called.

For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in

Isaiah clearly prophesies to
Israel that her Maker is Her Husband and that is The Lord God of
Heaven and Earth… Israel’s relationship to The Lord was symbolic
of clearly being married to The Lord but Israel chooses to
betray The Lord and go after other Men… In this verse The Lord
promises to renew this relationship after Israel goes through
chastisement…
Jeremiah 3:20-22

Surely
as
a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye
dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.
(21)
A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping
and
supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted
their way,
and
they have forgotten the LORD their God.

Return, ye backsliding children,
and
I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for
thou

the LORD our God.
As we read in Jeremiah 3,
Israel and Judah are again depicted in a symbolic husband and
wife relationship with The Lord. Judah as a wife to The Lord
deals treacherously and departs from her Husband, The Lord… She
commits adultery or whoredom… She perverted the ways of The
Lord… Today this would be symbolic of the Church; she has
departed from The Lord and perverted The Way of Truth…
Jeremiah 31:31-33

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in
the day
that
I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt;
which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto
them, saith the LORD:

But this
shall
be
the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After
those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward
parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and
they shall be my people.
Again we see the Husband Wife
Symbolic relationship here between The Lord and Israel… The Lord
clearly says “I was Husband unto them…” The Lord promises to
renew this relationship but under a New Covenant…

The Lord clearly rebukes Israel
for forsaking Him and committing whoredom and adultery instead
of seeking relationship with her Husband, The Lord God of Heaven
and Earth… Today many Christians have taken on the same role of
an imperious whorish woman by committing adultery with The World
and forsaking a Personal relationship with their Husband Jesus
Christ…
The
Imperious Church...
The indictment in this verse is
very great…the work of an imperious whorish woman… Imperious
meaning…

This is a picture of a
rebellious woman usurping the authority of her husband. The
Church today has Men who have usurped the Authority of Christ in
the Church and have become imperious.
The Church has ceased
being submissive before The Lord and taken on the road of
becoming domineering, Haughty and arrogant while committing acts
of whoredom by loving the world, the things of the world, and
worship of Man…
Israel did exactly that and sought help and
trust from other Men and rejected The Lord her Husband but what
followed was judgment and chastisement… The Church today is
about to go through that as well…
The
Chastisement of The Lord...
Hosea 2:6-7

Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make
a wall, that she shall not find her paths.
(7)
And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not
overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find
them:
then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband;
for then
was
it
better with me than now.
The Lord speaks about a
chastisement, a judgment against Israel in that she will seek
her lovers and fail to find them. The Lord would bring about
situations that are very adverse and troublesome, and severe
that would cause Israel to return to The Lord her First and True
Husband… That is what will happen to the Church…
She (Church) will be
taken through the Tribulation period for her purification…during
this time she will know that she was deceived by evil Men and
she will return to Jesus Christ her rightful Husband…as we read
in Rev 7:14 about this great multitude that comes out of the
great tribulation having washed her garments in the Blood of The
Lamb…
The Church
as Wife, Bride of The Lamb...
2 Corinthians 11:2-4

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have
espoused you to one husband, that I may present
you
as
a chaste virgin to Christ.
(3)
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve
through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not
preached, or
if
ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or
another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear
with
him.
In the New Testament, marriage
again is symbolic of the Relationship between The Church and
Jesus Christ, the Church being the Wife or Bride and Christ
Jesus being The Husband. Paul the Apostle alludes to the
preaching of The True Gospel that will present The Church as a
chaste virgin to Christ…
Sadly today, the gospel being
preached is ‘Another Gospel’, one which does NOT present the
church as a chaste virgin to Christ but one which presents the
Church to Man; a gospel that makes the church sin, love the
world, trust the world, live like the world and causes
ungodliness and impurity…
The Chaste

A Chaste Virgin is one who is
pure in Christ Jesus, as we check for the meaning of the word
Chaste…

The True Gospel of Jesus Christ
purifies and cleanses us from the filth and love of this world.
Any Gospel that makes us fall in Love with the world and soil
our garments is a gospel of the antichrist and a gospel from
hell…such is a gospel that does not present us as a Chaste
Virgin before Christ Jesus but one that presents us as a harlot
and a whore before Man and the world…
So, what type of Gospel are you
listening to? Popular Gospels toady such as the ‘Prosperity
Gospel’, ‘Dominion Gospel’, ‘Political Christianity Gospel’,
and ‘Purpose Driven Life Gospels’, among other false doctrines
have largely turned the church into a Harlot and a Whore rather
than a chaste virgin before The Lord…
Ephesians 5:21-33

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the
Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the
head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.

The Church
Must Submit to Christ Not Man...
Paul, The Apostle explicitly
shows us the symbolism of marriage insofar as The Church and
Christ is concerned; the Church being the Bride or the Wife and
Christ being the Husband. The Church is supposed to submit to
Christ Jesus and NOT Man as it is today…
Every believer in Christ Jesus
should submit to the Authority of Jesus Christ and NOT Man,
Churches, Denominations, and Bible Seminaries…these are NOT the
Husband to the Church and have no Authority to demand
submissiveness outside Christ Jesus… As a matter of fact these
self proclaimed institutions such as Bible Seminaries,
Denominations, and Pastors etc have usurped the True authority
of Christ in the Church and demanded accountability to their
institutions, to Man, and not to Christ…
In plain language, they are
committing great abominations…they are trying to steal and rape
the Bride of Christ… It sounds harsh, doesn’t it? Well, that
should cause us to awake to the seriousness of our Personal
Relationship with Jesus Christ… The Church belongs NOT to
Institutions but to Christ Jesus and it is to Christ that the
Church be presented as Chaste Virgin and NOT Man!!!
Jesus
Christ Takes care of His Church...
A Husband takes care of his wife
and family and does not do so through other men or institutions.
Jesus Christ does NOT need denominations, institutions and other
men to take care of His Church… He does take care of His Church
Himself…
Does that mean I am against
Leadership? No, as a matter of fact True Christian Leaders
endeavor to preach the True Gospel that Present the Church as a
Chaste Virgin before Christ Jesus… What we have in many churches
today are wolves and false apostle or apostate leaders who
endeavor to preach a false gospel that presents the church as a
whore and harlot to the world – a church that loves the world…
That is why we have a huge emphasis on the prosperity,
Dominionism, political Christianity, purpose driven gospels in
the church today…gospels of Man calling for submission to Man
and Not Christ…
Christ Jesus is The True Husband
to the True Church concerned with purifying the Saints or the
Church so as to present to Himself a pure, holy, and glorious
Church without sport or wrinkle… I sometimes wonder what type of
bibles preachers read today…
Ephesians 5 is very clear as to
the desire of Christ Jesus for His Church…it is NOT to drive the
most expensive cars, buy the latest Gulf Stream Jets, wear
designer clothes, have “Christian Presidents”, have the largest
Mega Church Building, the best Mansion and Bungalow in town, the
largest bank account etc… These things are sought after by those
who love the world and the riches of this world…and are a
product of a gospel of Man that seeks to turn the church into a
whore and an adulteress… Watch out!
Sanctifies
the Church with Washing of The Word...
As we see in Ephesians 5, it is
Christ Jesus, The Husband to the Church, who loves it so much
that He gave His life for Her…it is He, Christ who cleanses the
Church and purifies the Church with washing of water by His
Word; The True Gospel that cleanses and sanctifies us, preparing
us as a Bride without sport or wrinkle for the Coming of The
Lord Jesus Christ… We belong to Jesus Christ and NOT Man and
Institutions of Man…
One should take serious note to
the fact that The Lord cleanses us, His Church, His Bride with
the washing of The Word…this is the True Gospel, the Whole
Counsel of God’s word that conforms us to the likeness of Jesus
Christ and death to sin, self, and love of this world. Those
who reject the whole counsel of God’s Word and instead pick and
choose that which fits them are rejecting the cleansing by the
washing of the word from The Lord.
Revelation 21:1-2

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from
God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
The Saints are seen as the New
Jerusalem – the Holy gathering of all Saints in Christ Jesus
both from physical Israel and the Gentiles…these are the True
Israel of God, the bride of Jesus Christ. It is to this glory
that The Lord sanctifies us for such a time that He will be
glorified among His Saints.
The Glory to which The Lord Jesus
Christ has called us is not the fading and perishing glories of
this world, it is not conquering nations in the name of Jesus
Christ, it is not Dominionism, and getting all the riches one
can in this world, it is not gaining this world while loosing
one’s soul…it is a life of being purified and sanctified in
Christ Jesus that we may be conformed to Christ’s likeness.
Revelation 21:9-10

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the
seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me,
saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's
wife.
(10)
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high
mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God,
The Bride of Christ is
recognized in Heaven and yes, these are they who accept the
disciplines of The Lord, the chastisements of The Lord that
they may walk holy before God and may be worthy to be called the
Bride of The lamb, not having a righteousness of their own but
that of Jesus Christ.
Harlots
have no place in Heaven...
However, harlots and whores have
no place in Heaven, you can make the choice to day by choosing
to submit to The Lord Jesus Christ and His disciplines or rebel
and become the imperious and adulterous wife who will be cast
out. Harlots and Whores have no place in Heaven.
This is a message that I hope
will deepen your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and
that you reconsider your priorities. Loving this world is
committing whoredom and committing spiritual fornication.
Those who place their trust in
Man, Man institutions, Political Christianity, Dominionism,
Pastors, Materialism, Riches of this world, Prosperity Gospel,
and other temporal glories of this world are simply selling
their birthright like Esau did for soup, they are like Judas
betraying The Lord for thirty pieces of silver, they are like
the foolish virgins who did not prepare for the coming of the
bridegroom…
Brethren, let us awake to the
higher calling of a life submissive and totally obedient to
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, for the time is very short…for
the midnight cry is out and loud, awake from your slumber, the
Bridegroom cometh!
Spiritual
Adultery goes along with Balaam Prosperity gospel...
Revelation 2:14
(14)
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there
them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast
a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things
sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
Again we see here The Lord
Himself rebuke the Church concerning the teachings of Balaam and
the issue of fornication. Balaam represents today’s prosperity
preachers who preach and prophesy for money and force the church
to eat food sacrificed to idols being symbolic of teachings
designed to make people love the things and systems of this
world. The best example in this category is the teachings of TD
Jakes, Joyce Meyer (Enjoying Life Everyday), and Rick Warren
with his Purpose Driven life.
Such teachings make believers
love the world and conform to the standards of this world while
rejecting the True authority of Jesus Christ. Christians who
feed from such teachings – food scarified to idols, always end
up chasing after the best house, best car, best job, climbing
the corporate ladder, Political Christianity, Dominionism etc.
John Hagee recently started a Political Christianity Movement
that seeks to have the USA nuke Iran so as to protect Israel…
Millions of Christians in the USA
were deceived that if they supported GW Bush for President of
the USA, they would “take America back” to being a Christian
nation. Many did support the “Christian” president only to
discover that they were deceived…but it was too late, they were
forced into spiritual adultery when they trusted Political
Christians to save them… Brethren, lets watch and take heed,
lets not be deceived Political Christianity will not save
anyone!
Spirit of Jezebel...
Revelation 2:20-23
(20)
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou
sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a
prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit
fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
(21)
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she
repented not.
(22)
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit
adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of
their deeds.
(23)
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches
shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts:
and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Jezebel is symbolic of spiritual
adultery and fornication. Jezebel is also symbolic of the
imperious woman. Jezebel controlled King Ahab and led Israel to
worship foreign gods. Today the same spirit reigns in many
churches turning churches into places of spiritual adultery, and
churches that are imperious to the Lord. Jezebel spirits always
lead the church to fall in love with the world and systems of
the world.
The Lord warns that those who
commit this grievous sin will be cast into the tribulation. The
meaning here is that they will not be spared or kept or
protected through the tribulation but will be given over to a
reprobate and sinful mind to total apostasy… The Lord even
states that He will kill her children with death… This is
symbolic of spiritual death to all the off springs of such
churches that practice spiritual adultery…there are no true
disciples in such churches…they are dead churches though
physically they might look rich and wealthy on the outside…
Come out from among them, Be
Ye Separate...
Revelation 18:1-5
(1)
And after these things I saw another angel come down from
heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his
glory.
(2)
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the
great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of
devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird.
(3)
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed
fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed
rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
(4)
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,
my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye
receive not of her plagues.
(5)
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered
her iniquities.
The Lord’s Command is that we
leave such adulterous Christians institutions….that we come out
and be separate and have nothing to do with churches or pastors
engaged in spiritual fornication. The end result of churches
that practice spiritual adultery is that they will be destroyed
with fire…
