What
would be the Signs of the Times before Jesus Christ Returns?
Jesus Christ rebuked the Pharisees for their failure to see the
Signs of the Times that pointed to the First Coming of Jesus
Christ. Yet today many church leaders and Christians ignore the
signs of the times that point to the Second Coming of Jesus
Christ as Jesus Christ taught in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke
21. Are Christians today not behaving just like Pharisees did in
Jesus Christ days on earth? Many Christians ignore Bible
Prophesy claiming that it is not all that important…
Matthew 16:1-3
(1)
The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired
him that he would show them a sign from heaven.
(2)
He answered and said unto them, When
it is
evening, ye
say,
It
will
be
fair weather:
for the
sky is
red.
(3)
And in
the morning,
It
will
be
foul weather
today:
for the
sky is
red and
lowering.
O
ye
hypocrites,
ye can
discern
the face
of the
sky;
but can
ye not
discern
the
signs of
the
times?
This is a simple overview but should help anyone clearly
understand what would happen before Jesus Christ Returned…
Remember Bible Prophesy is NOT for PhDs in Theology or the
‘Elite’ Christians… Jesus Christ spoke these words on Events to
come so every one can understand… It is only confusing to the
‘Elite’ PhDs but not those who have The Holy Spirit – The Spirit
of Truth… This is the Teaching and Doctrine of Jesus Christ that
can clearly be seen in Matthew 24 and Luke 21.
Are the events in chronological order? I say that in my strong
opinion, they are in chronological order…let everyone study
carefully and see for themselves… For example you cannot have
the Rapture (Second Coming of Jesus Christ) before the Great
Tribulation cause that would contradict what Jesus Christ
taught…
Jesus Christ NEVER taught that He would come secretly but His
coming will be visible to all… Jesus Christ ONLY taught a SECOND
COMING and Not a third or forth… So, below are the signs that
would precede the Second Coming of Jesus Christ…
THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE
- Destruction of the Second Jewish Temple

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith
unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings
are
here!

And Jesus answering said unto him,
Seest thou
these
great buildings?
there
shall not
be left
one stone upon another,
that
shall not
be
thrown down.
Disciples Ask Jesus when these things shall be…in Context with
the Temple being destroyed because Jesus Christ had just spoken
about the Temple being destroyed…
Mark 13:3-4

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple,
Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall
be
the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
GREAT
DECEPTION
- There will be Great Deception even told in the Name of
Christ…these are the most dangerous as they come as wolves in
sheep’s clothing…preachers who come preaching about Christ but
are liars…
Mark 13:5-6

And Jesus answering them began to say,
Take heed lest
any
man
deceive
you:

For
many shall
come in
my
name, saying,
I am
Christ;
and
shall deceive
many.
False preachers will come preaching saying that Jesus is the
Christ but shall deceive many….these fellows shall perform
miracles, prophesy in Jesus Name yet they shall be
imposters…these guys are many today in Christendom and so watch
out…these are the guys Jesus Christ was taking about who come
saying “I am Christ” and shall deceive many…
Matthew 7:15-16

of false prophets,

WORLDWIDE PERSECUTION
- There shall be Betrayal and Persecution of the Saints

councils; and

synagogues

beaten:

be brought
before
rulers and
kings
for my sake, for
a
testimony against
them.

gospel

when they

lead
you,
and
deliver you up, take no thought
beforehand what
ye
shall speak,
neither
do ye
premeditate:

whatsoever shall

in that
hour,

brother
shall betray

brother to
death,

father
the son;

THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION
- The Antichrist shall show himself in the Temple as God…Read
the Book of Daniel to understand what Jesus Christ is taking
about…

see the
abomination
of
desolation, spoken of
by
Daniel the
prophet,
standing
where
it ought
not,
let (him that readeth
understand,)
then
let them
that be
in
Judea flee
to the
mountains:
The Antichrist’s kingdom is the Last worldwide Empire – World
Government and sets up the abomination that causes desolation…
Daniel 7:23-27
(23)
Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon
earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall
devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in
pieces.
(24)
And the ten horns out of this kingdom
are
ten kings
that shall arise: and
another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the
first, and he shall subdue three kings.
(25)
And he shall speak
great
words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of
the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they
shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the
dividing of time.
(26)
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his
dominion, to consume and to destroy
it
unto the end.
(27)
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom
under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the
saints of the most High, whose kingdom
is
an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey
him.
The Antichrist Shall Persecute the Saints – The Christians – The
Elect…
Daniel 8:23-25

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors
are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and
understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
(24)
And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he
shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and
shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
(25)
And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in
his hand; and he shall magnify
himself
in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also
stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken
without hand.
The Antichrist Causes the Abomination of Desolation for 3.5
years…
Daniel 9:27
(27)
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in
the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he
shall make
it desolate, even until
the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.
The Antichrist will Persecute the Saints – Christians…
Daniel 11:31-36
(31)
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the
sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily
sacrifice,
and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
(32)
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by
flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be
strong, and do
exploits.
(33)
And they that understand among the people shall instruct many:
yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity,
and by spoil,
many
days.
(34)
Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little
help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
(35)
And some
of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge,
and to make
them
white, even
to the time of the end: because
it
is
yet for a time appointed.
(36)
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt
himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till
the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined
shall be done.
The Great Tribulation from the Time of the Abomination of
Desolation shall be 3.5 years…
Daniel 12:9-13
(9)
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words
are
closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
(10)
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall
understand; but the wise shall understand.
(11)
And from the time
that
the daily
sacrifice shall be taken
away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
there
shall
be
a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
(12)
Blessed is
he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and
five and thirty days.
(13)
But go thou thy way till the end
be:
for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the
days.
The
Beast – Antichrist only continues for forty two month – 3.5
years
Revelation 13:1-5
(1)
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up
out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his
horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
(2)
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the
feet
of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon
gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
(3)
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his
deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast.
(4)
And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who
is
like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
(5)
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty
and
two months.
FLEE JUDEA
- JERUSALEM
- When the Abomination of Desolation Takes Place, those around
Judea – Jerusalem should flee…
Mark 13:15-18
(15)
And let
him
that is
on the
housetop
not go
down into
the
house, neither
enter
therein,
to take
any thing
out of
his house:
(16)
And let
him that is
in the
field
not turn back
again
for to
take up
his garment.
(17)
But woe
to them
that are with child, and
to them
that give suck in
those
days!
(18)
And
pray ye
that
your flight
be not
in the
winter.
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
- When the Antichrist shows himself as God – The Abomination
that causes desolation, there shall be great affliction never
seen before – This marks the start of the Great
Tribulation…those days will be shortened for the Saints’ sake –
3.5 years… Notice the ‘Elect’ in this verse are the Saints - the
Christians washed by the Blood of the Lamb… Yes, we Christians
will go through the Great Tribulation… Better get ready… Don’t
be deceived by left behind theology…
Mark 13:19-20
(19)
For
in
those
days shall
be
affliction, such as
was not
from
the beginning
of the
creation
which
God created
unto
this time,
neither
shall be.
(20)
And
except that
the
Lord had
shortened
those
days, no
flesh
should be
saved:
but for the elect's sake,
whom he
hath
chosen, he
hath
shortened the
days.
These are the Saints – Christians who come out of the Great
Tribulation having washed their robes in the Blood of The Lamb…
Brethren, the Church will go through the Tribulation and be
purified…
Revelation 7:9-17
(9)
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man
could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and
tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed
with white robes, and palms in their hands;
(10)
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which
sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
(11)
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and
about
the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on
their faces, and worshiped God,
(12)
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving,
and honor, and power, and might,
be
unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
(13)
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these
which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
(14)
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These
are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(15)
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day
and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall
dwell among them.
(16)
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither
shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
(17)
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed
them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
MORE DECEPTION
- There shall appear False Christs (False Anointed Ones) and
False Prophets even in the Great Tribulation just before Jesus
Christ appears…so, Brethren, WATCH OUT…
Mark 13:21-23

And
then if
any man
shall say
to you,
Lo,
here
is
Christ;
or, lo,
he
is
there;
believe
him
not:
(22)
For
false Christs and
false prophets
shall
rise, and
shall
show signs
and
wonders, to
seduce,
if
it
were
possible,
even
the elect.

take ye heed: behold,

AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS
- The Lord will Return…NOT BEFORE…nothing like a Pre Tribulation
Rapture…Jesus Christ spoke of a POST TRIBULATION RAPTURE…After
the Tribulation of those days…

APOCALYPTIC COSMIC EVENTS
- Apocalyptic cosmic events take place signaling the immediate
return of Jesus Christ – The Sun will be darkened, the Moon will
not give her light, Stars of heaven shall fall…and thereafter
The Lord Returns…

THE RAPTURE
- Takes place here After the Tribulation of those days and when
cosmic events like the sun gets dark, moon not giving its light
and stars of heaven falling…

WATCH THE FIG TREE
-Learn the Parable of the Fig Tree… This is representative of
the signs that The Lord is speaking about in context of the
whole Mark 13… It also speaks about the rebirth of Israel as we
read in Hosea 9:10, Habakkuk 3:17-19, and Jeremiah 24…
Mark 13:28-33

fig tree;

her branch
is yet
tender,
and putteth forth
leaves,
ye know
that
summer is

when ye
shall
see these things
come to pass,

nigh,

The Good Figs will Return…
Jeremiah 24:5-7

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so
will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah,
whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the
Chaldeans for
their
good.

For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring
them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull
them
down; and I will plant them, and not pluck
them
up.

And I will give them a heart to know me, that I
am
the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Israel
and the Fig Tree…
Hosea 9:10

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers
as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time:

they went to Baal-peor, and separated themselves unto
that
shame; and
their abominations were
according as they loved.
Israel
and the Fig Tree Blossoming…
Habakkuk 3:17-19

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither
shall
fruit be
in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields
shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there
shall
be
no herd in the stalls:

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my
salvation.
(19)
The LORD God
is
my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds'
feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief
singer on my stringed instruments.
A day will come when Israel shall be restored – The Fig Tree…and
none shall make them afraid…this can only happen in the
Millennial Reign of Messiah…
Micah 4:4

But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig
tree; and none shall make
them
afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken
it.
The Fig
Tree has not yet brought Forth…representing Israel, though the
nation has been restored – Fig Tree Shooting Forth, no Fruit
yet…God shall begin to bless them (Israel/Judah) progressively…
Haggai 2:19

Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig
tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought
forth: from this day will I bless
you.
Israel/Judah shall fully be restored…in the Millennial Reign of
Messiah…
