which says "God is mad and judgment is to come and the other that
says "God will bless America" - clearly in the old testament we see
a God who gets angry and judges --- so how do we get this "new,
softer God now"? Some say that we are now under grace - would that
make a new softer God?

You have hit an important point in the prophetic movement.
Paul in the letter you quote from is exhorting believers how to live.
Prophecy for the true house of God (those that are truly
Christ’s and are really obeying his word) are to be encouraging and
edifying. While Jesus promises us all persecution, the wrath of God
and many of the evils of the world will not touch us who are
truly obeying God.
There really is no difference between the prophets of the Old and New
Testaments. When the people sinned and did evil, God sent prophets to
warn. Listen CF, God is mad, every soul that sins will
die. His wrath abides (remains upon) on the children of
disobedience. God grace is giving man space to repent, believe
in Christ and obey his commandments.
Wherein in time past ye
walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince
of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the
children of disobedience: - Rom 5:19
Think about what
disobedience means; those who are not DOING WHAT THEY ARE
TOLD. What is that? REPENT!!!
The verse you quoted, could be interpreted to mean no prophet is to
prophecy bad things.
Which say to the seers,
See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak
unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (Isa 30:10)
If that is the correct interpretation (of 1Cor14 1-3), then Jesus is a
false prophet because he surely prophesied a lot of bad things, so did
John in the Apocalypse. Among the brethren (true Christians) it should
not be necessary to constantly warn of sin. If sin and evil are so
prevalent in an assembly of believers then there is a deeper
problem amongst the assembly. Now a false prophet loves to be
'a once verse wonder' he quotes one verse at the
exclusion of all the others to try to say 'how dare you say we
are in sin? Prophet's are only to speak smooth things, sweet candy,
ice cream and chocolate...'
The biggest problem, and I will say it,
the false doctrine
of the 'happy happy happy' so-called 'prophetic'
movement is that there is no need for obedience and no need for
holiness. Yet we are commanded to be holy for God is Holy. Judgment on
a sinful world is outlined in great detail in the New Testament in the
book of Revelation. Is John a false prophet? There is no more
horrifying thing that those that he PROPHESIED in that book. Yes there
is much encouragement as well as things to shout for joy about, that
is; to the saints who obey God and HEED the prophecy of book of
Revelation.
I think I answered your question on grace before.
Heed this very carefully, Holiness is not an option,
living in sin and winking at it is not ever acceptable to God. Those
that subtlety teach that somehow we can do evil, praise those that do
evil support and vote for it are frankly deceived and working for the
devil, weather they know it or not.
No one who really loves Jesus would willingly continue in something
that sent Jesus to the cross. Namely sin. Nor would they soft peddle
it and make excuses for it. A true believer will shun every evil work,
association and thing. A deceived one will continue on in evil as
though nothing is wrong.
Sinners (willful unrepentant, continuous sinners) will get the wrath
of God, weather they claim to be Christians or not.
This matter goes to the heart of what is happening in the Church.
There is a separation going on. Those that soft peddle the whole
gospel and do not demand full repentance and those that say ‘just
mumble a few words, get baptized you will go to heaven and you can
never get kicked out not matter what you do.’
That is a lie of the devil.
America is a nation that is in horrible unrepentant and repetitive
sin. War, death concentration camps, sodomy, drug abuse, corruption,
thefts abuse of the poor and indigent are no longer things that can be
dismissed. These are very real problems and America not only refuses
to address them but in most instances rebukes those that bring these
evils to light. Just like the prophets of old.

CF, God is love and loves his children. Those that really love Christ
will be chastened and rebuked by Jesus in love to get them to repent.
Those who go without the chastisement are bastards and are no longer
sons.
But if ye be without
chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not
sons. (Heb 12:8)
Read the harder books (meat) in the New
Testament the ones that the false prophets ignore, the book of Hebrews
and the book of James and Jude as well and you will see that Sin is
not a joke and neither is false doctrine and any Christian who thinks
that they are and that God will not send prophets and others to warn
of it is not only wrong but probably has not known Christ and is
not known of him though he may think he does.
Christians in support of pure unadulterated evil
These is another spirit masquerading as Jesus
and the majority of Christians in America have fallen for it. That is
why the Corporate Church is all messed up, putting their stamp of
approval on a man who refuses to renounce his devilish association
with one of the most evil organizations in the world, the folks who
brought us Adolph Hitler; Brotherhood Of Death aka.,
The Order Of The Skull and Bones.

and a group of Christians, which of the two would condone an act of
mass murder, torture, rape, destruction of homes, wanton vandalism and
acts of terrorism? The former, or the latter?” - Pravda
I don't like to quote secular writers when
dealing with purely Christian themes, but the authors question goes to
the heart of what is happening in American Christianity. American
Corporate (501c3) Christianity is false, false, false. It is
rotten to the core and blessed is that man who sees it and flees it!

The lie that has so messed up the American Church who love their
places at presidential balls and inaugurals, who love the money and
fame and the religion business that makes them rich is this:
Holiness and repentance are not emphasized and are soft-peddled if
they are taught at all.
This is why you have gays in positions of leadership in some
denominations. It is always a phony ‘love, love love’ teaching. Now
if it was God's love they were really preaching, they would love
God by OBEYING HIS COMMANDMENTS.
He that hath my
commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and
he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him,
and will manifest myself to him. He that loveth me not keepeth not
my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the
Father's which sent me. - (Joh 14:21-22)
Now the God of peace, that
brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the
sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you
perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that
which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be]
glory for ever and ever. Amen.
(Heb 13:20-21)
How can a people continue on the road to Sodom and Gomorrah, the last
pit-stop on the way to hell? Simple, keep on sinning and tell others
that sin is not an important issue. Any person who preaches
and accepts that message, I can guarantee you, that person will lose
his eternal soul.
For I testify unto every
man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man
shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the
words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out
of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things
which are written in this book.
(Rev 22:18-19)
Hmmm. That happy movement
must view such a warning as a false prophecy because there is
something bad in it. That naughty prophet John! He won't get the
American Christian Award this year!
For conclusion, let me boil
it down to this. A false prophet does not want you to be holy. He does
not want you to keep from sin. He wants to encourage you IN your sin
so that you will remain in it. If you believe them, then he has your
eternal soul, be he Pastor, Deacon, Prophet, Priest, Preacher or
Teacher. If that is his doctrine he is a servant of the devil.
How do you think God will
deal with those who pervert his message?
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him
that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is
not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the
gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any
other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you,
let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any
[man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him be accursed. (Gal 1:6-9)

This is not an insignificant
issue and goes to the very heart of what is wrong with the American
Church, which supports the Antichrist system that is waging war
against the world to bring it under its own dominion.
Dominionism is
one of the key problems in American Christianity, It is a system of
belief the thinks that the Church must take dominion over the earth.
It does not accept what Jesus said about his coming, nor does it
accept that Jesus is coming to judge the world of Sin. It thinks that
they must use earthly political means to set up a Christian Kingdom on
earth. American Christianity has added new themes to this doctrinal
perversion.
I received an interesting
e-mail from some one on the same day that I answered CF's mail. It
said in essence:
Bush is a solid Christian
man.
America is going to be a
great nation again.
Be Happy.
Each statement listed above
was quoted directly from the e-mail I received. Now this was
written by a pastors wife! Notice where her hope is; it is in
Bush and America. She did not mention Jesus' return, nor does
she think Bush's satanic connections relevant! This simple observation
goes to the heart of what is wrong with the religious-right in
America. They are trying to take over the world, they are being used
by ambitious men to accomplish the devil's aims, because the devil
too, wants to bring the world together into a singular system. Is it
not strange that the last days system of Antichrist uses religion (in
the form of the false prophet) to accomplish his aims? What time is it
dear reader!!! What time is it indeed!
The true Christians hope is
in the return of Jesus Christ
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the
great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
(Tit 2:13)
The hope of Satan's children has always been glory and power on this
earth and in this life. (See Matt 4:1-11). The devil is tempting
America's Christians with the kingdoms of this earth just like he
tempted Jesus. Yet Christ's Kingdom is not of this earth, not of this
world. This is where the big disconnect comes from; there are
two hopes and two kingdoms. The American Christian by and
large has chosen (through deceit) to help Satan build his Kingdom.
Even the world is beginning to see it. Even those who make no
Christian profession are beginning to see it. Even the depraved world
can see the difference between simple good and evil.
