The claim that corruption is rife in the church seems to be a hot debate in the Kenyan church and households. This issue of corruption and decay in the church put out in this article (Pastor Owuor accuses church of corruption) a brief exposure of apostasy in the  Church in Kenya and Kenya as a whole. One either reaps corruption or life. So far most of the church is reaping corruption which in the end leads to hell.

A rebuttal was soon given to the above allegations. To make matters more interesting these preachers who vehemently disagreed with the vindication call REPENTANCE, HATE SPEECH??!! Talk of religious fascism, Evangelical style. Of False Pastors and Prophets... However, other preachers rose up and rebutted the so called defense by confirming the fact of instances of corruption mainly manifesting in management of church finances and general church up keep.

What is encouraging is that they are some Evangelical Christians rising speaking out in newspaper comments against the rot in the church exported by TBN and copied and pasted by some Kenya wanna-be TBN preachers.

What should be emphasized is TRUE REPENTANCE, A RETURN TO THE NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIANITY, and A RETURN TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST AND SOUND DOCTRINE.

This is what will restore the salt and light of the Lord’s body. Any other repentance short of returning to Jesus Christ is at worst hypocritical or lip service repentance which is still apostasy.

WHAT CORRUPTION?
Corruption is being harbored by false doctrines and teachings that have brought the love of the world in the church. The love of God cannot be present where the world is and hence where the world is death and rot and Satan’s corruption. Jesus and the Apostles did not teach Prosperity in the world, Tithing, Planting seeds to get material wealth yet most sermons are based on these today.

Jesus and the apostles did not say become Members of Parliament to bring holiness in the country yet so called Christian Pastors and Musicians are heeding to calls of politics of this world. All of these are not supported by the scriptures. They are not part of New Testament faith.

So why use the name of Jesus yet teach what he did not teach or say or preach .Is that not taking the name of the Lord in vain?
Is not that resisting the Holy Spirit's guidance into all truth which is the word of God, Jesus Christ? The false teachings are ENOUGH PROOF OF CORRUPTION HENCE A NEED FOR THE CHURCH WHICH HOLDS THOSE DOCTRINES TO REPENT NOW.

If churches continue holding to those teachings well the grand theft, extortion and embezzlement of money will go on because false doctrine gives birth to evil deeds .They are the little leaven in the church today.

LITTLE LEAVEN LEAVENS THE WHOLE BREAD.
Yes there is leaven, leaven of the Pharisees and leaven of Herod; leaven of mammon and  spiritual fornication manifesting in the love of the world Even if it is one or twenty million cases as Christians we must stand and  remove leaven or else we will definitely
be leavened by it and defiled. God is holy thus we should be holy, no buts about that.

This leaven is in form of false doctrines such as planting seeds (or panda mbegu as known in Kenya), political Christianity, love of the world and many other lethal doctrines. All these breed corruption not only to the one who does them but those who fellowship with the main offenders. Next thing you know the whole church is brought down because of that little leaven leaven. THAT LITTLE LEAVEN OF CORRUPTION IS ENOUGH TO TAKE MANY CHRISTIANS TO HELL IF THEY DO NOT REPENT NOW.
 
BLIND TO GOD'S JUDGMENT
The apathy towards true repentance is a clear sign of blindness to one's true state. Many Christians think they are fine in the Lord when actually they are very far from him, enemies of God.

This blindness ceases when one repents and goes back to reading and doing the word of God humbly, in light of all that is happening in the church. It does not take super human ability to know. Go before the light of word with the Holy Spirit's guidance and he will show you the truth that we need to repent for God cannot be mocked; Jesus HATES ANY SIN in us individuals and church.

In the scriptures holding false doctrines is sin that needs to be repented of. It is time to answer his call not once but daily carrying the cross walking the narrow path
Repentance in Jesus Christ is the way back to our first love and daily abiding and doing his word.
