Are you as a Christian still perturbed by an Obama Presidency? Well, I had a discussion with one individual online about the same issue and they responded to me with a question wanting to know if Idi Amin, Uganda’s former notorious Dictator was a Servant of God? Well, this individual was trying to draw parallels between Obama and Idi Amin. However, even though the question was far fetched from this individual, as Uganda is not America and Obama is not Idi Amin…, I decided to answer by asking a few questions of my own to this individual…

 

The point is that The Lord reigns over all the kings of the earth and The Lord is Sovereign over all. It is The Lord that chooses and allows in His permissive will both good and evil leaders to places of power and authority so as to fulfill God’s own purposes and plans. Now, some have gone to the extreme of worshiping Obama and calling him 'Messiah'....on the other hand are those Christians who totally hate him (Obama) and engage in all types of rebellious incitements and rage against his Presidency.

 

The Bible refers to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon as a 'Servant of God'...of course we know he was a servant not for good but judgment on other nations after which Babylon itself was judged by God....

 

Many Christians in the West get disturbed because of a none ‘Christian Leader’ yet we see scripture The Lord raises leaders at different times for His own purposes.

 

I believe that the time of so-called favor from Politicians towards Christians in the West is over. I foresee the US Republicans divorce themselves from the US Evangelicals as the evangelicals become more of a liability… Jesus Christ clearly stated in Matthew 24 that “You shall be hated of all nations for my name sake…”

 

The Lord is rising up leaders who will usher in a Global Persecution against any one who preaches and teaches in The Name of Jesus Christ. Prepare yourself because the days when the State favored you because you are a Christian are OVER! The days of a “Christian Nation” and “Christian President” are OVER! The time has come that it will cost you, even your life, to call your self after The Name of Jesus Christ!

Thanks for the reply…however, to answer the Idi Amin question, I will have to ask a few of these questions….

 

Was King Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon a Servant of God or Baal?

Jeremiah 27:1-11

(1)  In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

(2)  Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,

(3)  And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;

(4)  And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;

(9)  Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

(10)  For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

(11)  But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

 

Was King Cyrus of Persia a Servant of God or Baal?

Isaiah 45:1-4

(1)  Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

(2)  I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

(3)  And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

(4)  For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

 

Who Hardened the Heart of Pharaoh King of Egypt, was it Moses or God?

 

Romans 9:17-23

The Lord Rules over the Kingdoms of Men and Gives it to whoever He chooses

 

Daniel 4:17

(17)  This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

 

 

Jesus Christ Reigns over the kings of the earth…

 

Revelation 1:5-6

(5)  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

(6)  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  

 

Perhaps The Lord is rising up Barrack Obama so that the Church in America will quit fixing their eyes on Politicians to help them out in matters of Holiness, Righteousness, and Morality.

 

I believe that this will certainly be a forerunner of the Antichrist, Globalism and the New World Government headed by the Antichrist…

 

However, even then, we are to not engage in incitement, rebellion and upheavals against the Secular Government. We are to obey Romans 13 regardless, unless we are commanded to deny our faith or stop preaching and teaching in Jesus Christ’s Name…

 

Acts 5:27-29

(27)  And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

(28)  Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

Acts 5:40-42

(40)  And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

Romans Chapter 13 was written to Christians who lived under the Roman Empire.  The Leaders of Rome were Sodomites, Child Molesters, and haters of God and heavily persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ.

 

It is in the context of persecution under Emperor Nero and other haters of God that Romans Chapter 13 is written so as to address the issue of Christians who might think it wise to take up guns and fight against and overthrow the Roman Empire… Christians in America are falling into the deception and temptation of believing that America will become a Christian Nation… It will not happen…

 

In Uganda, Christians did not fight in arms against Idi Amin. In fact the Church saw more revival and growth underground under heavy persecution from Idi Amin than the Apostasy we are witnessing under the “Christian President” Museveni who seems favorable to Ugandan Christians… 

 

If Christians in other parts of the world can endure persecution and grow even under dictatorships, I believe Christians in America can endure a little ‘Barack Obama Secular Humanist’ Persecution! The Gospel will still be preached.

 

Communism could not stop the Bible, neither did Socialism stop Christianity; the Roman Catholic Inquisition could not stop the Gospel. Stalin failed to stump out Christianity; China has failed at keeping Christianity at bay…

 

The Only threat to Christianity Today is right under our noses, and that is TBN and the whole Prosperity, get rich quick gospel. What Islam has failed to accomplish in destroying True Christianity in Africa, TBN and the Prosperity, Word Faith Movement have succeeded in destroying as you have personally witnessed when you visited East Africa… It is even worse now…

 

My prayer, is that Christians in America will cool down from all the Election Fever and seek The Lord’s Face and see what The Lord is doing…and YES, perhaps the there is need for a leader who will rise up to persecute the Western Church that it may awake from it’s slumber…and if that leader is perhaps Obama, then why fight against the Sovereignty and Permissive will of God?

 

Don’t we need to step back a little bit and see what The Lord is doing????

 

How do we expect Bible Prophecy to be Fulfilled????
