[1] Therefore the virtue of enduring sufferings for Christ's sake has totally been neglected and replaced with teachings that promise total health and wealth for the believer while on earth.

In his defense and oral treatise, Stephen in the Book of Acts employs the term 'church' in his description of the children of Israel in the wilderness under the leadership of Moses. The children of Israel seemed not to have been aware of the 'separation' and 'coming out' that The Lord intended for  the  'church' in the wilderness and thus the longing for a return to Egypt.

The Contemporary Church of our day has drastically lost the True Fear of The Lord that what we have is instead a fear of man. Yet the contrast was quite true and a reality in the early New Testament Church, The Fear of The Lord was present.

The subject of False Teachers and Deception was a big issue to the early church that the leadership of the early church clearly addressed this issue with clarity and great concern and passion. At one time Paul the Apostle calls on those who preached ‘another gospel’ to be ‘accursed’. John the Apostle at a certain time called on Christians not to even ‘associate’ or ‘welcome’ those who taught heresies.
