An article appeared in the Ugandan Weekly, Sunday Vision September 17, 2011 that questioned if Christians are cursed. There is a popular teaching among Evangelical Christians in Uganda that Christians remain cursed until those curses are “broken” by some anointed Man or Woman of God. Usually, those who are deemed cursed are the poor, weak, destitute, unemployed, sick, and those facing various challenges of life.
Making it a Priority to Reach out to the Poor and those in Need for Christ

There is no doubt that those most affected by the current global economic malaise are the poor. As we embark on this new year, it would be worthwhile that we think of ways, and make it our Christian ministry priority, to not only help the poor but assist those in need to stand on their own feet and self-sustaining.

As we come to the close of this year, it would be worthwhile to take a look back and reflect at both the bad and good events that happened this year; of course with the attitude of being thankful and grateful to The Lord for His Providence.
